Anthony and Tiffany’s love story began back in March 2008 in the halls of St. John’s University. Tiffany was completing her second semester of her first year in college and Anthony was completing his final semester of his last year in college. After months of dating and getting to know one another, Anthony finally won Tiffany over. They decided to make it official in November of 2008 and have been inseparable ever since. “From the moment we met, we have felt a deep spiritual, emotional and physical connection with one another, a bond between best friends, lovers and soulmates. We truly feel in our hearts and souls that our paths were meant to be crossed, we were destined to be together and share our lives with each other. A few years ago we came across a poem by Pablo Neruda that we both felt a connection to “I love you without knowing how or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride, I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” – Tiffany
We got engaged on our five-year anniversary in 2013 where we went to dinner at a restaurant in NYC called Club A Steakhouse. We then went back to our home where Anthony surprised me with all of our family and friends and proposed in front of them that evening. We then had an engagement party that night.
The wedding process was definitely an amazing experience filled with much excitement and a little bit of stress every now and then. Neither one of us had ever dreamed of our wedding day or ever been part of a wedding process in the past. This was a new world for us, so every detail was truly special and unique to us. Anthony was just as involved in every decision making as I was. Every time I would feel overwhelmed, Anthony was right by my side reassuring me that everything would work out. Besides each other, our Maid of Honor, Best Man and parents were involved throughout the entire process helping us out with anything we needed. We had the best support system we could have ever asked for.
To say that our wedding reception was magical is an understatement. We chose to have our wedding reception at Chateau Briand because it was the venue that stood out to us the most with its stylish and modern ambiance. We loved the idea of having our cocktail hour in their beautiful and romantic outdoor garden oasis, it was unique and we had never seen anything else like it. The outdoor setting was perfection, our guest enjoyed the cocktail hour surrounded by palm trees, waterfalls, cabanas, fireplaces, hanging flowers, LED lighting, floating candles and music. When we walked out for the first time as husband and wife to this beautiful garden, we truly felt like we were stepping into a fairy tale.
We had our wedding reception in the newly renovated Leonardo Da Vinci ballroom, where the decor was filled with a touch of elegance and glamour. Walking into this grand ballroom you were overwhelmed with its beauty, which included Swarovski crystal chandeliers, a romantic marble fireplace near the sweetheart table, beautiful ceilings with drapery, LED lighting all while overlooking the outdoor garden oasis. The beautiful high and low centerpieces of pink and white flowers with crystals, which were exclusively chosen by Porta Decor. We had both a DJ and MC provided by Fiesta Ent and with the numerous televisions at the reception, we were able to have a slideshow of our favorite photos while our guests enjoyed the most amazing food.
The entire day and night was captured exceptionally by the photographers and videographers from Studio 27. We wanted our entrance into the wedding reception to represent us. We had each person in our bridal party as well as our parents and grandparents walk into the ballroom dancing, which everyone absolutely enjoyed. Our first dance also depicted us as a couple where we slow danced to “All of Me” by John Legend followed by the same song in a more upbeat tune. I danced songs with three of the most important people in my life-father, mother and grandfather. Anthony also danced a beautiful song with his mother. The rest of the night was simply out of this world, filled with dancing and nothing but love. At the end of the night, since it was right before July 4th we wanted to do something special. As the wedding night was coming to an end when all of our guest were leaving, we had everyone go outside to the garden oasis. They all stood on both sides leaving a path for us to come out, and each of our guests were given sparklers. As we were walking out to the garden at the end of our magnificent wedding, our guests filled the night sky with sparklers it was truly the perfect end the most perfect day.
Our wedding day will forever be one of the best days of our entire lives, it was truly a dream come true and depicted our love and relationship perfectly. We wish we could relive that magical day every day for the rest of our lives. Our wedding day was filled with tears of joy, laughter, happiness and the celebration of two hearts joining in marriage. Each of our guests commented how much they could feel the amazing energy and vibes of our love and union. At the end of the night, when it was just the two of us, we both sat down and cried because of the overwhelming amount of love we had felt that night.
Special thanks to Tiffany for sharing her journey with us. Jacqueline of Lifetime Events by Jacqueline was nice enough to submit this beautiful wedding and was also Tiffany and Anthony’s wedding planner. Below are some of my favorite shots from the wedding captured by Studio 27 Photographers & Cinematographers.
